Float Building Workshop

Have a cabin? Come to our free float building seminar with float specialists on-site! We will be demonstrating float construction throughout the day. Come with questions!

We’re going to donate the completed float to a good cause: PR Paws - Powell River Parks and Wilderness Society. It will live on Powell Lake at the new Fiddlehead Farm shelter so all in the community can enjoy it.

Cool New Product - JOI Ingenious Lighting

We have an extremely cool new product to share with you!

It’s called the JOI and what it does is pretty incredible. By using a single one hour tea light candle it can generate the light output of about eighteen tea light candles! It works by using thermoelectric technology which takes advantage of temperature differences to create electricity.

We're renovating

If you haven't been up to Valley since January 1st, you should definitely visit! We have renovated over the holidays, and you will notice that we have combined our main and express counters to make one new, central customer service desk at the main entrance.

The new desk not only looks great, but it will help us serve you better by having all of our expertise behind one counter. It has also allowed us to re-merchandise around the desk, providing you with more tools and products for your home projects.

Our desk was the culmination of many experts to ensure that it not only functioned well (thanks to a bank of six terminals to help customers), but was designed to look great as well (featuring Parallam, an engineered wood product used for structural support in houses, finished and stained to show it's amazing texture and beauty). We are sure that this move is going to make Valley even better at serving your needs.
